FREE STRETCHING at the 1st ANNUAL RUNAWAY PUMPKIN HALF MARATHON!

There is nothing like completing your first 5k, 10k, marathon or trail run! After the finish line hoorays, follow through with these simple tips to round off your run nicely. Don’t stop immediately – keep moving and wind down gradually thereby lowering your heart rate over 10 minutes, keep warm and follow through with a few gentle stretches of the larger muscle groups, drink fluids and eat a small amount to rehydrate or refuel and most importantly – enjoy the moment! Just remember – the cool down process is just as important as the warm up !!!
